In December, almost 600,000 Ukrainians received funds under this program.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“Now we are making changes so that families who were not included in the list of recipients last year due to technical reasons will now receive assistance. They will be able to spend these funds on the most urgent needs, in particular, on warm things for children,” Shmyhal said.
He also reported that more than 12 million Ukrainians have applied for a thousand hryvnias within the framework of the “Winter is Support” program, and 11.5 million people have already received their payments.
In addition, according to the Prime Minister, a support program for internally displaced persons is being developed: from January 29, a subsidy for housing rent will start, which will reduce the burden on family budgets.
