– You started playing Dynamo. Did you go through the Russian invasion?
– Yes. I, like many of my peers, was a hostage to the situation. However, as it turned out, in terms of football, I definitely won.

– Of course. Many ask me about what is happening in our country, but the most important and most pleasant thing that all partners support.
– In Ukraine, did you not see prospects for growth?
– Then I didn’t think about it. Now I have something to compare with, ”Popov admitted.
Popov was in the structure of Dynamo Kyiv, where he played for the U-17 team. The forward left Ukraine in 2022, after which he advocated the Polish “Zabzh”.
In October 2023, the Ukrainian moved to the Italian Championship-first played for the Empoli U-17 and then transferred to the first team.
