The chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danilo Getmantsev believes that the current living wage in Ukraine does not correspond to realities.
He emphasized – these amounts “hard to imagine that it is possible to live.”
According to him, the indicators that are now focused on the state, calculated according to the outdated norms of the consumer basket, which has long been not reflecting the real needs of people.
Getmantsev called on the Ministry of Social Policy to revise its composition and adapt to modern prices and social standards.
We will remind, on the website of the Verkhovna Rada there was a petition with a call for the people’s deputies to consider the bill on establishing uniform conditions for the transfer of pensions for all citizens.
