“He’s completely different now.” Warren explained why Dubois lost to Usyk

Frank Warrena well-known heavyweight promoter Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KO), spoke about his client’s defeat in last year’s fight against the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs):

“The fight in which I would like to see DuBois now is a rematch against Usyk. This is another Daniel Dubois, he is more mature physically and mentally. It will become stronger and stronger. He’s going to be around for a while, he’s young and has what it takes to take over this division.

In the first fight, Dubois lost his temper after an incident with a punch to the groin. I think it was because he was a bit younger and probably didn’t have enough experience to handle it. But now he’s a completely different guy.”

We will remind, in August 2023, Oleksandr Usyk knocked out Dubois in the 9th round and defended the world champion titles.
