Details: The man was caught by employees of the Krakow branch of the Central Cybercrime Bureau on November 16.

It turned out that the Russian illegally crossed the Polish border in 2022, and a year later received refugee status in the country.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the man hacked the information systems of online stores and penetrated the databases stored there.
In addition, his activities may be connected with other cyber attacks directed against companies operating in Poland and the European Union. Currently, law enforcement officers are assessing the damage that the Russian could have caused.
The man has already been questioned. He was also charged and, by the court’s decision, sent to arrest for 3 months.
