The investigation established that in December 2025, KNP “Education Agency of the City of Kyiv” announced a tender for the purchase of educational equipment for a total amount of almost 8.3 million hryvnias.
According to the results of the tender, the winner was determined. At the same time, the head of the utility company initiated a meeting with him, at which he informed that 1.2 million hryvnias should be transferred to him for the signing of the contract and further settlement.
The director of the KNP “Educational Agency of the City of Kyiv” was detained while receiving money.
The detainee was notified of the suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely in demanding and receiving an unlawful benefit in a particularly large amount.
The issue of selecting a preventive measure and removing the suspect from office is being resolved.
