He defeated Usyk. The American boxer talked about the fight with the Ukrainian

American boxer Sean Porter (31–3–1, 17 KOs) recalled the fight with Oleksandr Usyk – the boxers met in 2006, when they were competing in amateur sports. Porter won and talked about his feelings after the match:

“It was a really interesting match. Usyk was not as tall as now, and he was thin. In the fourth round, before the gong sounded, my trainer said, “Sean, if you catch him, if you hit him with a straight right, you’re going to get him and you’re going to win.” This is exactly what happened.

We moved a lot in the ring, but I hit Usyk and he stumbled back. You all know by now that I went for it and ended up winning 23-20. I remember when my hand was raised, I remember thinking to myself that I deserved this victory.

I was in Ukraine in 2018, and all this was incredible – when people came up and talked about that fight with Usyk,” said Porter.

Earlier it was reported that the winner of the upcoming rematch between Usyk and Fury will receive a commemorative belt.
