It seems that the American’s desire will become a reality in the near future – his promoter agreed on a title fight with Eimantas Stanionis (15-0, 9 KOs), who owns the WBA belt. It is reported that representatives of the boxers held successful negotiations and approved all points of the future fight.
Ennis and Stanionis will enter the ring on April 12 in Atlantic City (USA). The meeting will be broadcast on the DAZN platform.
The American defeated the Ukrainian contender Karen Chukhajian in the last fight – on November 9 last year, Jaron won by unanimous decision (119:107, 117:109, 116:110). Eimantas last stepped into the ring back in May 2024, when he defeated Gabriel Maestre (UD 12).
