At the same time, it became known that the premiere of the new series will take place in the fall of 2025, but the exact date will be announced later.
The events of the series will take place in 1962 in the town of Derry in Maine – so where the clown clown Pennivis pursued children in original films. It turns out that the kids began to disappear long before the events of the main story.
The creators also promise to return the audience “where it all started.”
As in the last two film adaptations of the novel “It”, Bill Scashhord will again embody the image of Pennivis.
Meanwhile, the main show of the series is the director of the films “It” (2017) and “It 2” (2019) Andres Musketti.
At the same time, the lead roles in “It: Welcome to Derri” Giovan Adepo (“Babylon”, series “In Best place”), Chris Chok (“12 years of slavery”, series “Gothem”), Taylor Page (“Police from Beverly”.
The series is known to have at least six episodes, although nine series has previously been stated.
