Russia has introduced a list of its requirements for the conclusion of a war against Ukraine and restarting relations with Washington, writes Reuters, citing two people familiar with this issue, on Thursday, March 13.
Russian and American officials have discussed the Kremlin’s conditions during personal and virtual conversations during the last three weeks, sources said.
It is unclear what Moscow demands and whether it is ready to start peace talks with Kiev to accept its conditions. Also, the commitment of Vladimir Putin’s dictator to a potential ceasefire agreement is not determined.
Reuters sources described Moscow’s conditions as wide and similar to the requirements that the Russians have previously made Ukraine, the USA and NATO. Reuters suggests that Kyiv may refuse NATO membership, an agreement on non -depreciation of foreign troops in Ukraine and international recognition of captured Crimea and four regions of Ukraine in Russian.
In recent years, Russia has also demanded from the US and NATO removal of so -called “The fundamental causes of war, including the expansion of the Alliance to the East.

March 11 in Jeddy (Saudi Arabia) a meeting of representatives of Ukraine and the USA took place. The states offered Ukraine a 30-day ceasefire. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukraine is ready for a temporary truce if the Russian Federation agrees. The United States will now submit to the Russian side “numerous channels”, said US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
President Donald Trump said the United States would meet the Russian delegation in the coming days.
