“Antonio Fuoco will take the wheel of the Ferrari SF-25 in the first practice of the Mexican Grand Prix”, — write: sport.ua
The Italian triumphed at Le Mans as part of the Ferrari factory team and occasionally participates in Formula 1 tests. He last drove a Scuderia car at the youth tests in Abu Dhabi at the end of the 2024 season.
Fuoco first tried Formula 1 technology back in 2015, and also took part in the 2020 and 2021 youth tests.
Mexico City will be the first of two stages where Hamilton will miss FP1 to fulfill the FIA’s mandatory requirement of two sessions with young drivers. The second time it will happen in Abu Dhabi.
His teammate Charles Leclerc already fulfilled this requirement earlier in the season – in Bahrain and Austria, where Dino Beganovich sat behind the wheel.
In addition, Max Verstappen will miss FP1 in Mexico City: their protégé from Formula 2, Arvid Lindblad, will perform for Red Bull in this session.
