Vadim Gutzait also spoke about expectations from the performances of Ukrainian athletes at the Winter Games, in particular, he appreciated the prospects in freestyle.
“There are expectations of sports where we have athletes who can be competitive and fight for awards. We hope for freestyle. We very much want our young, but experienced athletes who have already had awards at the World and Europe Championships, have been fighting for medals.
We will remind, the Winter Olympiad of 2026 will be held in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina-D’Ampecso. It will take place from February 6 to February 22.
