Greek with a world record won the gold of the World Games-2025, Yakovlev-a silver medalist

Ukrainians Sofia Grechko and Anna Yakovlev took two first places of the podium at the World Games in 2025.

Today, on August 11, a final swallowed 400 m in the flippers among women, which was made by Grechko and Yakovlev.

Three -quarters of the distance were leading the “neutral” athlete from Russia Elizabeth Kupressov, while both Ukrainians sailed right behind her.

However, one hundred meters before the finish of Yakovlev and Greek ahead of the Russian woman, throwing it in the third place. The status of the World Games-2025 champion Ukrainian athletes played in the last 50 m distance. As a result, Sofia ahead of the countryman to 0.39 and won this swim. Anna had to be satisfied with the status of silver medalist.

Moreover, Grechko not only won the gold medal of the tournament, she also set a new world record – 3: 11.88.
