The Azerbaijani group NEQSOL Holding, which recently won the auction for the privatization of the United Mining and Chemical Company, transferred UAH 3.94 billion to the state budget for this enterprise under the terms of the tender.
This was reported by the State Property Fund.
“The buyer undertook to invest at least UAH 400 million in the modernization of production,” said the acting director. head of the FSMU Ivanna Smachilo. — “These investments create the foundations for increasing the efficiency of processing titanium raw materials and expanding the production capabilities of products with greater added value.”
According to her, together with the hotel Ukraina sold in September, the total amount of revenues from large privatization exceeded UAH 6.4 billion.
At the same time, as part of the large-scale privatization, an online auction will be held on December 19, 2024 for the sale of 100% of AEROK LLC, which was confiscated from the Russian oligarch Andriy Molchanov. The starting price of the object is UAH 965.3 million.
OGHC is the largest enterprise in Ukraine for extraction and beneficiation of titanium ore concentrates.
The company includes Vilnohirsky mining and metallurgical plant in Dnipropetrovsk region and Irshansky mining and beneficiation plant in Zhytomyr region.
The founder of NEQSOL Holding, whose main areas of activity include energy, telecommunications, and construction, is Azerbaijani Nasib Hasanov.
