The Government of Ukraine has approved the updated conditions for receiving state educational grants for entrants in 2025.

The main purpose of the changes is to support entrants who have high NMT results, but have not fallen into budget places in the desired universities. Grants will cover part of the cost of training.
According to innovations, “Grant 1 of Level” in the amount of 17 thousand hryvnias will be received by those who scored from 150 points in two NMT items (or 140+ points for specialties with special support), and “Grant 2 of Level 2”-25 thousand hryvnias, for entrants with results from 170 points.
For the first time since 2025, a regional ratio of 1.5 for entrants who have received school education and enters the higher education institution of Zaporizhzhya, Sumy, Kharkiv or Mykolaiv regions – this will allow them to get an even larger grant.
We will remind, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law that allows to transfer to remote or homework to parents whose children study remotely at school.
The government will also provide new benefits to children of veterans and dead defenders. They will get free training.
