Grammarly, a company with Ukrainian roots and office in Kiev, has announced its intention to buy Superhuman – a developer of a popular postal client based on artificial intelligence. This acquisition should be part of the new Grammarly strategy aimed at transforming into a multi-product platform with Shi agents to increase productivity.

Superhuman is known as a postal customer developer that allows users to save time through intellectual features that speed up work with e -mail. According to Grammarly, e-mail is an ideal environment for the integration of Shi agents, as experts spend more than three hours in postal applications daily.

“We are moving to the future where people work where people work,” CEO Grammarly Shishir said CEO Grammarly. “Thanks to Superhuman, we will be able to offer a new environment of interaction with agents of millions of users.”

Grammarly notes that her Shi assistant now edits more than 50 million letters weekly in 20+ postal services, including Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and Superhuman. At the same time, Superhuman is actively implementing Shi function: 94% of its users apply them, and the speed of sheet processing increases by 72%.

CEO Superhuman Rakhul Vohra stressed that Grammarly association will create a new format of work with Shi agents directly in postal tools, freeing up time for creative and strategic tasks.

This acquisition will enhance the development of the Grammarly ecosystem, which already includes CODA-a tool for managing the AI agents that research, analyze, create and exchange information. In the future, the company plans to introduce a platform that will allow users to work with several agents at a time. For example, when preparing a letter, you can involve a communication agent to edit text, sales agent to verify data, customer support agent to add context and a marketing agent for product positioning recommendations.

Grammarly believes that this approach will help specialists achieve three -time productivity growth over the next five years.

Recall that Grammarly was founded in 2009 by three natives of Ukraine – Oleksiy Shevchenko, Maxim Litvin and Dmitry leader. Recently, the company has raised $ 1 billion from General Catalyst Venture Fund.
