About this reported First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko.
Recent cyber attacks have temporarily affected the operation of a number of state registries. Therefore, while the restoration of systems is underway, the government has extended the reservations.
We are talking about reservations provided by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine or through the Unified state web portal of electronic services, i.e. through the Diya portal.
The reservation will be renewed automatically.
It is noted that there is no need to additionally apply to the relevant authorities to issue new documents.
For example, if an employee’s reservation expired on December 20, 2024, it will automatically be extended to January 20, 2025. But no longer than until February 28, 2025.
But if the reservation ends before December 19, 2024, it will not be extended. Such reservations can be renewed after the resumption of operation of the registers.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine must make the necessary changes to the Unified State Register of conscripts, conscripts and reservists within five days in order to synchronize the data of the register with the approved changes.
We will remind:
Ukraine suffered the largest cyber attack on state registers in recent times. As a result of the attack carried out by Russian hackers, the operation of key systems of the Ministry of Justice was temporarily suspended. The hackers said they destroyed all the data they had access to, including backups on servers in Poland. State registers will be restored for two weeks.
First of all, the Ministry of Justice will restore a single register of powers of attorney, a single register of special forms, notarial documents and an inheritance register, which will ensure proper accounting and minimize negative consequences.
State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection does not confirm information leak after Russian cyber attack.
Former Minister of Justice Denys Malyuska explainedthat there is no serious problem in the deletion of the registries by the Russians, since there are backup copies and everything will be restored soon.
