“For the first time, we are getting early warning and long-range ballistic missile defense capabilities for our population and infrastructure. In 2023, Germany and Israel signed an agreement for Berlin to purchase the Arrow-3 air defense system for approximately $3.6 billion.
The Arrow-3 system is designed and manufactured by Israeli Aerospace Industries in cooperation with the American aerospace giant Boeing. The Arrow-3 has been in use in Israel since 2017 as part of its Iron Dome defense network.
