At the same time, he stressed that his country does not forget about Ukraine.

In an interview with Spiegel, answering the question of whether his attention was reduced to war in Ukraine due to a conflict in the Middle East, Vadeful answered in the affirmative.

“Yes, worry. We do not forget about Ukraine. And the same applies to other armed conflicts and humanitarian disasters, such as Sudan and South Sudan, where there are mass casualties,” he said.

At the same time, he emphasized that the more consistent the West’s policy on Russia, the more likely it is to agree to Vladimir Putin.

“This means that we should also not stop military support: we must continue to help Kiev. This is necessary for our freedom,” he said.

At the same time, Vadeful did not answer the question of whether he expects a new offensive of Russia in Ukraine this summer, emphasizing that “every extra day of this war is terrible.”

“Europeans are determined, but our actions will be more effective if we coordinate our actions with the United States. If this is possible, Putin will be ready for negotiation very quickly,” he said.

He also assessed the possibility of direct negotiations with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, noting that the conditions should be met for this purpose.

“First, we, Europeans, need to decide that negotiations with the management in Moscow make sense. There is no lack of proposals for negotiations with Ukraine. What is not enough, so it is Putin’s will to stop his attacks,” Vadeful said.

War in Ukraine is newsEarlier, Welt announced three scenarios that the war in Ukraine could end. If Western countries begin to supply modern weapons to Ukraine massively and strengthen sanctions against Russia, then Ukraine will remain a sovereign state, only Crimea and possibly some other regions will remain temporarily under the control of Russia.

However, as the publication indicates, such a scenario is very unlikely. Two others are much more possible. For example, when the United States refuses to support Ukraine, and our country will lose up to 20% of the territories and remain without access to the sea.

The most likely analysts are a script similar to the frozen conflict between North and South Korea. The conflict will freeze along the front line, a large demilitarized area will be created, and there will be no peace treaty.
