General Staff: there were 151 clashes at the front, half of them in two directions

From the beginning of the day to the evening of November 13, 151 combat clashes took place at the front, half of them in two directions: Kurakhivskyi and Pokrovskyi, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

“In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of the day, in the areas of Sukhoi Balka, Promeny, Lysivka, Krutoy Yar, Hryhorivka, Dachenskyi, Myrolyubivka, Petrivka, Novooleksiivka, Pustinka, our troops repelled 36 offensive and assault actions of the enemy. One of them is still ongoing… At this time of the day, there are 40 combat clashes in the Kurakhiv direction,” the report says.

The command also reported on battles in the Kharkiv, Kupyan, Lyman, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Vremiv, Orikhov, and Dnieper directions.

In the afternoon of November 13, the General Staff reported that Russian troops had attempted to break through in the Kupyan direction.

Meanwhile, the Kurakhiv direction has recently remained the leader in terms of the number of attacks in the reports of the General Staff. The Russian army is “tightening its grip” around Kurakhovoy – this was reported by the analytical project DeepState.

As the Radio Liberty Donbass.Realii project wrote, judging by the map, Kurakhove found itself in a huge “bag”, the distance between the extreme flanks of which is about 20 kilometers. Analysts from DeepState noted that even additional resources that arrive to reinforce this area are not always adequately deployed.

The American Institute for the Study of War said in a November 12 report that Russian forces had recently advanced in two mechanized assaults within and south of Kurakhovo in western Donetsk Oblast.
