“In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of this day, the enemy has attacked 24 times in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Novotoretsk, Zeleny Pol, Novogrodivka, Krasny Yar, Mykolaivka, and Marynivka. Our defenders repelled 23 enemy assaults. The battle is still going on near Krasny Yar. Today, according to preliminary data, 328 occupiers were neutralized in this direction, 134 of them – irreversibly,” the headquarters say.
According to the information of the Armed Forces, in the Lymansk direction, Russian troops attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 22 times near Druzhelyubivka, Cherneshchyna, Grekivka, Nevsky, Torsky, Makiivka, Zarichny, and Novosadovo. Seven clashes are still ongoing.
“In the Kurakhiv direction, the enemy made 19 attempts to break through our defenses near Tsukuriny, Zhelany Drugo, Georgiivka, Dalny, Kostyantynivka and Katerynivka. Fifteen clashes have ended, four more are still ongoing. In this direction, according to preliminary data, the loss of the enemy as irreversible and wounded amounted to 52 people. An armored combat vehicle and a car were also destroyed,” the message states.
In total, Russian troops advanced in 10 directions.
Russian President Vladimir Putin calls the full-scale invasion a “special operation.” Initially, its goal was defined as “demilitarization and denazification”, later – “protection of Donbas”. Since September 2022, fierce battles of the Russian-Ukrainian war have been going on in the east and south of Ukraine.
