It is reported that most of the clashes were in three directions: Pokrovsky, where the Ukrainian military stopped 43 assault actions by the aggressor, Novopavlovsky, where 35 invaders were reflected, and the Liman direction, where there were 24 combat clashes.
In addition, the fighting lasted in the North Slobozhansky, Kursk, South Slobozhansky, Kupyansk, Siversky, Kramatorsk, Toretsky, Dnieper directions.
“According to the specified information, yesterday the enemy struck in the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements of two missile strokes 44 rockets and 75 aviation strikes, dropped 125 managed aviation bombs, attracted 5 875 drones-Kamikadze. The enemy also made 5 709 artillery shelling, including 98 – from the jet systems of volley fire, ”the message reads.
On August 20, the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky stated that Russian troops increase pressure in the north of Donetsk region – in the Lyman direction, but, according to him, Pokrovsky, Dobropilsky and Novopavlovsky remain the hottest directions.
