General Staff: 217 battles per day at the front, the hottest – in the Kurakhiv direction

On the front of the previous day, 217 battles took place, more than a quarter – in the Kurakhiv direction, it was also hot in the Pokrovsky direction, in the Kursk region, enemy aviation made 22 strikes, and at the same time dropped 25 anti-aircraft missiles on the territory of the Russian Federation, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning briefing on September 21 , writes UNN.

According to detailed information, yesterday the enemy launched five missile strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using six missiles, 73 air strikes, using 108 anti-aircraft missiles. In addition, he fired 5,300 shots, 215 of them from MLRS.

Over the past 24 hours, aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces have reportedly struck eight enemy manpower concentrations, hitting two command posts, one anti-aircraft defense system, and seven artillery systems of the occupiers.

According to the General Staff, the situation by direction is as follows:

On Kharkivskyi direction, three enemy attacks took place in the Vovchansk region.

According to the specified information, on Kupiansky direction during the day, the occupiers carried out 19 attacks. The defense forces stopped all enemy assaults in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Synkivka, Stelmakhivka, Kruglyakivka and Lozova settlements.

On Lymansky direction, our troops repelled ten attacks by invaders near Cherneshchyna, Grekivka, Druzhelyubivka, Novosadovo, Terni, and Zarichny. The main efforts of the enemy were directed towards Nevsky, where he carried out eight more attacks.

On Seversky direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled one assault near Vyimka.

With the support of aviation on Kramatorsk direction, the enemy tried nine times to break through the defenses in the areas of Chasovoy Yar, Kalynyvka, Ivanivskyi and Bila Hora.

Near the settlements of Dachne, Toretsk and Shcherbynivka on Toretskyi direction, the enemy made nine attacks.

Our defenders repelled 36 enemy assaults on Pokrovsky direction of varying intensity in the areas of Zelene Pole, Marynivka, Krasniy Yar, Vozdvizhenka, Novotoretsk, Myrolyubivka, Grodivka, Chervone, Selidove and Novogrodivka settlements.

Enemy attacks on Kurakhivskyi direction, the Defense Forces repelled in the areas of Tsukuryne, Zhelanne Pershe, Georgiyivka, Hirnyk, Dalnye, Oleksandrivka, Katerynivka, and Kostyantynivka, where the occupiers tried to break through the defense of our troops 58 times. The enemy was most active near Georgiyivka, carrying out 21 assaults in one day.

With the support of aviation, the aggressor 18 times on Vremivskyi direction attacked Ukrainian positions in the areas of Ugledar, Prechistivka, Novodarivka, and Bogoyavlenka.

On Orihivskyi direction, six combat clashes took place near Mala Tokmachka, Lobkovo and Novodanilivka.
