G7: “We will not tolerate Russia’s threats to use nuclear weapons”

Group of Seven foreign ministers have condemned Russia’s nuclear rhetoric and its strategy of intimidation, saying they will not “tolerate” it. This is stated in the final communiqué of the meeting of foreign ministers of the “Group of Seven” countries, which took place in Italy on November 26, writes UNN with reference to Sky TG24.

We strongly condemn Russia’s irresponsible and threatening nuclear rhetoric and its posture of strategic intimidation. We will never tolerate threats of nuclear weapons, let alone any use of nuclear weapons by Russia in the context of its aggressive war against Ukraine. We also express our deep concern about Russia’s use of chemical weapons and riot control as a method of waging war in Ukraine

The document talks about expanding the conditions under which Russia can use nuclear weapons.
