Carlos FuziyamaCarlos FuziyamaThe organizer of the crypto-pyramid, involved in investigations in Brazil and Japan, Carlos Fuziyama, who was banned from entering Ukraine, plans to return to the country. This is stated in the material of the journalistic investigation project “StopKor”.

A few years ago, the publication reported, Fuziyama opened a mining farm in the former cafeteria of the plant in Kropyvnytskyi and began collecting money from people all over the world.

“Instead of the promised excess profits for investors, his LLC “Mining Express” withdrew more than UAH 1 billion from the authorized capital through the Hong Kong firm “Edelweiss Investment and Trading Company Limited”. In 2021, the Ukrainian authorities banned him from entering the country, and his residence permit was canceled. The law enforcement officers seized the mining equipment and other property,” they wrote journalists

According to their information, the equipment was left for responsible storage, but in December 2021, the owners were able to change the security of the facility, expel the old workers and take out part of the property.

At the last court hearing in the case of Mining Express LLC, which investigators discovered in the YouControl database, the company’s lawyer tried to use the typos in the appeal decision to release the property from seizure, but then the judge ordered to simply correct the error in the text, the investigation said.

Journalists of the publication spoke with a lawyer dealing with Fuziyama’s case in Japan.

“They say that there are more than 2,000 victims in Japan. I believe that the victims are not only those who invested their money, but also those who borrowed this money. In Japan, there is no criminal case against Mr. Fujiyama. There is only a civil court. Although a criminal case should be initiated immediately. The victims do not know what to do, so they only turn to the civil court. I partially support the civil process,” said lawyer Sata Manabu, who deals with the “Mining” case Express” in Japan.

According to information from investigative sources, Fujiyama organized colorful parties and presentations for potential investors from Japan, used local salesmen, and even arranged outing tours to Kropyvnytskyi for the Japanese. After the fall of the pyramid, a single message appeared on the site. In it, the organizers promised to restore everything, complained about the law enforcement officers and the war.

The authors of the investigation indicated that Fuziami could be assisted in returning to Ukraine. People’s deputy, head of the Verkhovna Rada committee on law enforcement Serhiy Ionushas sent a request to the law enforcement officers to soften the attitude towards Fuziyama and not prevent him from returning. The authors of the material wrote that the people’s deputy called Fuziama a victim of fraudulent actions by Ukrainians and a decent foreign investor.

The journalists said that they will inform about the details of the development of court cases and legal aspects in the following materials.

In the fall of 2024, Fuziami was banned from entering Ukraine, and his permanent residence permit in Ukraine was revoked. Fuziyama and his companies are suspected of fraudulent activities.
