“Tyson left England because of taxes”, — write: sport.ua
Former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury unexpectedly left Great Britain with his family and changed his place of permanent residence. The reason for this decision was the tax policy of the British government, reports The Sun.
The 37-year-old boxer moved to the Isle of Man with his wife Paris and seven children. This decision was taken after the increase in the tax burden for wealthy citizens in Great Britain. In the Isle of Man, the income tax rate for high earners is around 21%, while in Britain it is as high as 45%.
The boxer has already officially changed his address on business documents, as has his wife. According to sources, Fury is happy with the move and plans to make the Isle of Man his new home.
