Volodymyr Kudrytskyi said that the enemy will use the frost to attack the energy system.
“For him, this is a golden time in such attacks. Because consumption is at its maximum. The effect of these attacks is huge. And it is the most on household consumers. And he (Putin. – Ed.) will try to use this time,” added Kudrytskyi.
At the same time, he noted, the balance of the energy system will change in the spring, because solar power plants will start working and hydropower plants will give more.
“Solar power plants, they will make it possible to unload our hydro generation during the day, which will be able to store water during the day in order to drain this water by the evening and cover more consumption. That is, roughly speaking, we will have a couple of queues of at least non-disconnected consumers,” Kudrytskyi said.
Director of Yasno, Serhiy Kovalenko, explained that a big role in the fact that Kyiv is currently surviving is played by the fact that businesses – small and large – switched to alternative energy sources.
According to their own calculations, some 26% of Kyiv residents have charging stations at home. And it also helps to pass difficult times. But, at the same time, Kovalenko said that almost nothing has been implemented in the capital regarding larger-scale projects that would allow houses to function better.
