Details: In his Telegram on Sunday, Durov stated that the Government of one of the Western European countries appealed to the messenger to “block conservative votes in Romania on the eve of today’s presidential election.”

Following the denial of the French Foreign Ministry, Durov stated that DGSE head Nicola Lerner in March asked him to “ban conservative votes in Romania on the eve of elections” and the founder of Telegram refused.
“We did not block protesters in Russia, Belarus or Iran. We will not start doing so in Europe,” Durov said.
The French Foreign Security Directorate in response denied the criticism that required the Telegram founder to ban the accounts “related to any electoral process.”
“DGSE states that it has indeed been forced several times in recent years to contact directly (Durov. – Ed.) To remind him of the responsibility of his company and his personal responsibility for preventing terrorist threats and child pornography,” the DGSE statement reads.
The calculation of 100% of ballots showed that Nikusher Dan – the pro -European mayor of Bucharest – won the presidential elections in Romania with a result of 53.60% of the vote.
The Romanian Romanian politician George Simion admitted the defeat in the elections and greeted his opponent.
