French fishermen from Brittany regularly send decommissioned deep-sea nets to Ukraine, which are used to build anti-drone tunnels at the front.

It is reported T he Guardian.

The charity Kernic Solidarités has already donated 280 km of nets made from horsehair, a material that can withstand impacts similar to those of FPV drones. First, they were used to protect medical posts, and now — to cover roads, trenches, and equipment.

Fishing nets are stretched between poles, creating mesh tunnels, or they cover positions with them. They are also used by Ukrainian interceptor drones.

Fishermen from Sweden and Denmark have already helped. Volunteers are asking Ukraine to send transport, as they can no longer finance transportation on their own.

From the regional budget of the Kherson region, 50 million hryvnias were spent on the purchase of materials for the installation of anti-drone nets, which are enough for 60 kilometers of roads.
