This was reported by the organizing committee of the conference.
Until December 1, 2024, works are accepted for the essay contest for young people within the framework of the 12th Banderiv readings.
Students are encouraged to write small studies about the history of the struggle for independence of peoples enslaved by Moscow.
“For the first time in many years, peoples enslaved by Russia have a chance to gain freedom and become masters of their land. Uncover the history of the struggle that has been silenced and join the formation of ideas for a new future!” – says the message of the organizing committee.
This year, young researchers are expected to receive substantial cash prizes and prizes from the military. Detailed information on the conditions of the competition can be found at the link.
The acceptance of works for the book “Involuntary Joining: Essays on the History of the Liberation Struggle of Peoples Enslaved by Russia” is also ongoing until December 1.
It is planned to tell the world and ourselves the story of the heroic resistance of the peoples enslaved by Russia to Moscow’s imperialism. About the fact that no nation has ever voluntarily joined Muscovy, but on the contrary, has fiercely opposed it for centuries.
Also, Ukrainian and foreign researchers will try to answer the question: what will happen when there is no Russian empire? How will the natural space of free original and self-sufficient organic communities that will appear in the post-Russian space develop?
The book will be published in three languages on the eve of the main event.
In addition, the organizers of the conference reported that within the framework of the 12th Banderiv readings, it is planned to gather leaders of peoples enslaved by Russia, historians of the liberation struggle and graduates of the University of Free Peoples.
This year, the main partners of the event were the Anti-Imperial Bloc of Peoples and the fire support company of the 5th separate Kyiv assault brigade.
Among the information partners of the Banderiv readings is the information agency ArmiyaInform.
