This is reported by the DTEK company.

According to the published schedules, consumers of groups 1.1, 1.2, 2.1 and 2.2 will be without electricity in the capital until 24:00 on December 31.

Thus, residents of these queues will not be able to watch the traditional New Year’s address of the president live. Unless there are backup power sources.

DTEK added that in case of changes, citizens will be promptly informed.

The situation in the power system is the main news Earlier, Anatoliy Zamulko, the acting head of the State Energy Inspection, noted that the load usually decreases on New Year’s Eve, which could slightly weaken the schedules. However, everything will depend on whether the Russians will not launch another attack on the Ukrainian energy sector.

Later, Ukrenergo confirmed that there will be blackout schedules in most regions of Ukraine on December 31.

The situation in the Ukrainian energy system remains difficult after the last massive shelling of the Russian Federation, which took place on December 27. As a result of this attack, the left bank of Kyiv and the region still lives with emergency power outages.

As the CEO of Yasno, Serhiy Kovalenko, noted, energy companies have tried several times to cancel emergency shutdowns for the Left Bank of the capital, but so far it has not been possible to do so due to significant damage.

In addition, on the night of December 30, the occupiers again attacked Ukrainian energy facilities in the Chernihiv region.

According to the Deputy Minister of Energy Olga Yukhymchuk, as of the morning of December 30, more than 75,000 consumers remained without electricity.

Acting Energy Minister Artem Nekrasov said that Ukraine will be able to abandon blackout schedules 2 months after the end of Russian attacks – that’s how long it takes to restore energy facilities.
