Details: The department noted that against the background of a decrease in confidence among Slovak society and protests against his pro -Russian course Fitzo resorted to the search for external enemies and found them in Ukraine.
Literally: “We consider these regular absurd statements as an attempt to transfer responsibility for our own failures in domestic policy to foreign states and leaders. We advise you to look not abroad but in the mirror.”
Details: The Ukrainian side stressed that she repeatedly warned the danger of the pro -Russian policy of the current leadership of Slovakia. As a result, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Prime Minister and part of the country’s parliament were “poisoned by Russian propaganda” and have already begun to call the leaders of friendly states enemies.
“They are convinced that this position and policy of Robert Fitzo goes against the choice of the people of Slovakia to be an integral part of the European community,” the Foreign Ministry said.
Upon his return to Robert Fitzo to the post of Prime Minister Slovakia significantly changed the rhetoric on Ukraine, in particular, in terms of termination of military assistance to Kiev and establishing a dialogue with Russia.
