When there are no clouds during the day, at night all the heat that was accumulated by the earth during the day is released and, accordingly, the surface layer of the air cools down faster, which is why the nights in Ukraine are frosty, she explained.
“Even on Wednesday, there will be such cool nights, up to 8 degrees of frost, in some places locally, maybe up to 10 degrees of frost, but mostly in the coming night it is expected to be at the level of 3-8 degrees of frost in most areas. But starting from the night of Thursday, it will already be more cloudiness and there will be no such values of frost, they will be lower – from 3 degrees of frost to 3 degrees of heat in the night hours. The daytime temperature remains within 0-6 degrees of heat, more only in western regions,” Ptuha said.
She added that in Odesa and in the temporarily occupied Crimea, the temperature is expected to be 2-7 degrees Celsius during the day, because this cyclone will pass through Poland, Belarus
“And it will only slightly affect our territory with its atmospheric fronts and this will not manifest itself in any very heavy snowfalls. If we talk about the western regions, then we expect that there will be precipitation in the form of rain on Thursday, in the Carpathians, of course, with wet snow,” said the Bird.
She added that by Saturday, this atmospheric front will already erode and lose its strength in the northern regions (if we talk about Saturday) and partly in the central regions.
“In principle, it will not reach the rest of the regions,” the forecaster informed.
Forecasters previously warned citizens about difficult weather conditions in Ukraine.
