At full-time, Al-Samani was left furious and attacked a match official.

Assistant coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu also got involved.

As a result, both have been penalised by FIFA and handed bans.

Al-Samani will miss 15 games for his part in the incident.

Meanwhile, Osei-Fosu will serve a three-game ban for “unsporting behaviour towards a match official”, FIFA has announced.

Sudan currently sit third in Group B of CAF World Cup qualifying with 12 points from eight games.

Meanwhile, Togo sit fourth with seven points.

Senegal lead the group with 18 points from eight games, with DR Congo just behind.
