The defense forces of Ukraine continue to hold positions within the city of Kurakhove in Donetsk region, so it is impossible to say that the occupying forces of the Russian Federation have completely taken over the city. This was stated by the spokesman of the “Khortytsia” OSU Viktor Tregubov on the air of “Suspilny”, reports UNN.

“According to my information, there are battles in the area of ​​Kurakhovo. In particular, Ukrainian positions are held at the TPP, which is part of the city of Kurakhovo, so we cannot say that the Russian troops have taken the city completely. Although, of course, there most of the city was simply demolished. This must be recognized,” said Tregubov.

He noted that “since the Ukrainian troops still maintain positions within the city limits, we cannot talk about any abandonment.”

“The situation is difficult, let’s not say that everything is easy there, but I would not confirm the Russian versions, where it would be biased,” Tregubov added.
