About the past match with the paths of the site Sport.ua spoke with a well -known trainer and football expert Oleg Fedorchuk.
– Oleg Viktorovich, are we used to creating problems for ourselves?
– Absolutely true. In this case, it is a consequence of several trends. In general, we are stronger, but the fixation of defense football players on the attack leads to the fact that we cannot play zero. And this is an extra chance for the opponent. Of course, it is good when the defender is able to play the attack, but you need to protect yourself qualitatively.
The second game in a row our left flank looks unconvincing. No wonder and replacements went, but I thought the changes would begin earlier. The missing ball has a proportion of guilt and coaching staff. The left midfielder was replaced in the starting warehouse, and Vernatus was left. He made a mistake, giving a flank transmission that led to the missing ball. Frankly, the individual skill of our defenders leaves much to be desired.
And the second moment I would like to pay attention to is that we are uniformly acting in the attack. The whole game was aimed at delivering the ball to Sinchuk, who would either threaten the gate or gave the gear. Undoubtedly, it is good that we have such a performer, but nothing was remembered. There was neither a game through the center nor a counterattack. There is little variety, it is difficult to act at one pace. And there was not enough press. Our team is good, but not without flaws.
– However, by the middle of the first half, many probably wondered one question: how much we will kill. Do you agree?
– There was something similar in the match with South Korea. It is obvious here that the national team of Ukraine is higher in class, but we do not know how to play rationally. When the game goes, you need to see the opponent. It is a pity that it turned out. In my opinion, now our team looks four with a minus.
– It is a pity that in the match with Paraguay we will not be able to count on our leader Gennady Sinchuk, who has a bust of yellow cards.
– In the match with Paraguay, it can be auctioned. Although it is likely that we will already get out of the group, you just need to try to take the place as high as possible to have the most reserve opponent in the 1/8th.
– Why after the first danger at the gate of Ukraine, our players have some nervousness?
– It is rather a question to the coaching staff. The mentor tried to make some rearrangements in the back of the game, but it did not bring general dividends. We did not win the opponent who, as the duel showed, was not against a draw, if you remember how their goalkeeper was tan on the field or how field players were squeezed with pain when the joint, as such, was not. In this result, we should only blame ourselves.
– What are your expectations from our last match in a group against Paraguay?
– Victory guarantees the national team of Ukraine first in its four. You really want it. But if you mention the above, there may be problems. I watched more than one match in this tournament, and I can say that no dominant has no national team. There are also sensations, as it happened to the Spaniards. Therefore, everything is just beginning.
