Photo: Natalia Kravchuk / ArmiyaInform The commander of the 14th separate regiment of unmanned aerial systems of the SBS of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the pseudo “Charlie” talked about a problem that is periodically discussed by the military: the fall of a UAV due to the operation of a friendly EW. He told about this in an interview for “Grunt” media.
“We all understand very well that our EW, at a short distance to the line of combat, fights enemy UAVs, fights anti-aircraft missiles, other types of enemy missiles and weapons. Therefore, in order to work, we always have to personally establish interaction with such units on horizontal lines,” he noted.
According to him, it sometimes happens that their groups directly in the execution area come into contact with each neighboring unit, and only then use their means.
As ArmiyaInform reported, Charlie previously said that over the past year and a half, the Russian invaders have learned to quickly adapt and modernize drones.
