In Ivano-Frankivsk, a four-day seminar for members of the exorcists of Ukraine ended.
This was reported by the Ivano-Frankivsk Archdiocese of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
The event was held at the Seminary named after the Holy Martyr Josaphat under the leadership of Bishop Dmitry Grigorak-the head of the exorcists of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
Priests who have special permission to conduct exorcism rituals are gathering every year to exchange experience and improve their knowledge.
The participants of the seminar shared the experience of their service, discussing difficult cases and new approaches to the rituals of “exile devils”.
Particular attention was paid to the spiritual support of people who seek help, as well as the importance of personal training and moral responsibility of the priest.
During one of the Divine Liturgies, Bishop Dmitry stressed that clergy should be “light for others” and inspire the believers to read the Scriptures and imitate Christ.
Exorcism in the understanding of the UGCC is a special prayer rite aimed at “the expulsion of the evil spirit” from man. Only those priests who have received the corresponding permission from the bishop are entitled to exercise it.
The participants of the seminar stressed that the exorcist is of great responsibility for the spiritual state of the person who seeks for help and should act in accordance with the church canons and under the supervision of the bishop.
We will remind, the Anglican Church of St. Peter in the city of Shipley in the north of England attracts new parishioners with the help of wrestlers. Viewers are delighted with how the fighters fight for victory.
We have already reported that Carlo Akutis, who died in 2006 at the age of 15, will be the first in the history of the Catholic Church of the Holy Church, which is attributed to the so-called “generation of millennials”.
