Legendary American boxer Evander Holyfield assessed the career of WBC, WBO and WBA heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23–0, 14 KOs):
“You need to know one thing about Usyk – he will die sooner than allow himself to lose a fight. Oleksandr is always in incredible shape. He gives all his strength during the match.
This is the main difference between the Ukrainian and other heavyweight boxers. When I was a world champion, I had the same attitude towards boxing as Usyk. I’m not saying I’m invincible. No. But I didn’t lose because I didn’t put in enough effort,” Holyfield said.
