Former world champion Evander Holyfield believes that Riddick Bowe would have a good chance in a fight against the legendary heavyweight Lennox Lewis.
“If they had fought earlier, before Lennox started training Emmanuel Steward, I think Riddick Bowe would have beaten him,” Holyfield said.
Bowe and Lewis fought in the final of the 1988 Olympics, Lennox managed to knock out his opponent. However, Bowe never got into the ring with Lennox in the pros. Riddick relinquished the WBC title and trashed it after Lewis was named his mandatory challenger.
