Evacuation in Pokrovsk and Kurakhovo: how many children remain in the communities

Evacuation of the population from dangerous areas continues in Pokrovska and Kurakhivska communities of Donetsk region. 11,000 people remain in Pokrovsk, including 49 children, and 700-800 people remain in Kurakhovo. “Currently, 17,000 people and 246 children remain in the Pokrovsk community. In Pokrovsk, there are 11,000 people and 49 children. As for Kurakhovo, 1,300 people remain in the community and about 700-800 people in the city itself. All the children were taken out. Within a day, we 214 people and 10 children were taken from the front line,” Filashkin said.

According to him, forced evacuation is not announced, it is only for children and families with children.

He said that there were cases when, after evacuation, families with children returned to their homes by detours, thereby exposing them to danger.

The enemy continues shelling Donetsk region – 3,334 strikes were recorded on the front line and residential areas in the past day alone. 7 settlements came under fire: the cities of Druzhkivka, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, the village of Yampil, the villages of Andriivka, Bogatyr and Dachne. • In Andriivka, the FAB-250 bomb destroyed 10 private houses and damaged a car.
• Yampil was shelled with “Smerch” MLRS, as a result of which 8 private houses were damaged.

In addition, it was established that 8 apartment buildings were damaged in Myrnograd as a result of a bomb attack carried out on November 11, according to the regional police.
