In Switzerland there was a draw and it became known who Ukraine would compete for a place in the finals.
Photo ua.depositphotos.comOn Tuesday, January 28, in Switzerland, where the Eurovision-2025 competition will be held, a draw between the countries. It became known in what semifinals, when and with whom Ukraine will compete for the victory.This year, 37 artists will present their countries in the international arena, as Moldova earlier refused to participate. Of these, about 20 best performers will fall to the finals, where they will fight for the main award – a crystal microphone.
The Eurovision Instagram page has published the results of the draw, according to which it became known that Ukraine will appear on the show in the first semifinals. It will take place on May 13 in Basel.
For the place in the finals, a Ukrainian artist or group will fight with 15 countries, in particular, Sweden, Slovenia, Iceland, Estonia, Poland, Portugal, the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Albania, San Marino, Belgium, Cyprus, Horvatia and Norwegia.
photo eurovision.tvIn the second semifinals, which is planned for May 15, the following countries will appear: Austria, Lithuania, Armenia, Montenegro, Greece, Ireland, Australia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Israel, Malta, Finland, Denmark, Luxembourg, Georgia and Serbia.

They do not participate in the semifinals every year because they were the founders of Eurovision. It is the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. Also, the host country of this year’s show-Switzerland-comes to the finals.
