This was stated by Politico Defense Minister of Finland Anti Hakkyann.
“We need to have a common plan with the Americans for a roadmap if Americans change the balance in the Pacific in the field of ordinary defense opportunities,” he said.
He urged Washington to provide a “clear road card”, “that Russia would not have the windows to do something,” and noted that the US plans should coordinate with the EU initiatives to increase the defense capability of the bloc.
It is noted that European countries are trying to reconnect the continent’s defense, since Donald Trump’s administration is running an economic war against the EU, strengthens relations with Russia, warns that it may not protect NATO allies, which, in her opinion, undermine defense and threatens the invasion of Greenland.
NATO head Mark Rutte stated that there are no surprises in the Alliance and that any USA turn to Asia will be “very coordinated”.
Finnish minister was understanding the US arguments about the need to move to Asia:

Hakkyann warned that any US departure from Europe was a danger to the continent, and especially to countries close to Russia.
“Europe is too weak without the US opportunity. It needs to be supplemented by European opportunities,” the minister said.
Hakkyanen stated that the plans of the European Commission, which can potentially release 800 billion euros of military spending due to the softening of national fiscal rules and granting 150 billion euros of defense loans to increase the defense capability of the bloc by 2030, are “on the right path”.
EU leaders are expected to take a position on the commission’s proposals in June.

US plans for NATOThe US is completely committed to NATO and are not going to stop supporting the Alliance. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte told about it.
He stressed that there are no plans in the US in the US to reduce military presence in Europe. At the same time, Rutte noted that there are more theaters of war in the United States, not only in the Euro-Atlantic, but also in the Indo-Pacific.
