Details: EU leaders will make a final decision on membership of Trump’s Peace Council on Thursday, January 22.

“So what I can say is that the United States has invited us to join the Peace Council. As we said on Monday, we appreciate that invitation,” Gill said.
He added that the EU shares “the goal of achieving peace, in particular when it comes to contributing to the second phase of the comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza.”
“At the moment, the President (von der Leyen. – “EP”) is focused on preparing for the important meeting of the European Council, which will take place on Thursday, and we expect that the issue of the Peace Council will be discussed at the European Council. So we look forward to these discussions,” the spokesman said.
