“During the informal meeting in the format of the Copenhagen format at the end of August, foreign ministers will discuss a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation,” the diplomat said.
He said that a separate item will be allocated to discuss “increased pressure on Russia, in particular through sanctions and counteracting the shadow fleet of Russia.”
“Currently, the European Commission, and in particular the European Foreign Affairs Service, has been working on the project of the 19th Package of Sanctions,” the Eurovision interlocutor added.
The Hymn Meeting is an informal meeting of foreign ministers of the European Union Member States, which has been organized every six months, according to the Rotation Chairman of the EU Council since 1974.
Ministers conduct open closed conversations without the presence of helpers. This type of meeting was named from the first similar event that took place in the Hymn Castle in Erftstadt (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany).
