On January 10, a mass attack by the Russian army took place in Lozova. Critical infrastructure was hit, residential buildings were also damaged,” the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
During the attack, a 38-year-old man was injured and is under medical supervision. Under the procedural leadership of the Loziv district prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation into the fact of a war crime has already begun (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the attack and continue to record all the facts of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the region.
Local residents are reporting damaged roofs and broken windows, and utility services are working quickly to restore critical infrastructure to ensure a minimum level of comfort for the public. “We continue to fix the consequences, we are trying to restore electricity supply and residential buildings. People are receiving first aid, and the work continues,” the local administration said.
