“In the Kaluga region of the Russian Federation, FSB officers shot dead a native of the Zaporozhye region, who was suspected of preparing terrorist attacks, which became the second such case in a week and part of a series of fatal arrests of Ukrainians since the beginning of the war”, — write: www.radiosvoboda.org
The deceased is a native of the Zaporizhzhia region, the security forces reported. According to their version, allegedly on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services, he made improvised explosive devices and explosive substances and planned to blow up a gas storage facility, as well as the parking lot of an unnamed defense enterprise, and “resisted” during the detention.
This is at least the second native of Ukraine killed during FSB detention in a week. On December 24, a similar murder took place in the Tyumen region: there, security forces shot a 48-year-old native of the Vinnytsia region, suspected of participating in “one of the Ukrainian terrorist organizations banned in Russia.”
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine, FSB officers have killed 74 people during detention, according to “Vazhnye istorii”. At least four of them were killed by security forces in the occupied part of Zaporozhye.
