As of February 9, the situation in the Ukrainian energy system remains critical due to a series of massive attacks by the Russian occupiers.
Hourly power outage schedules have been introduced in all regions of the country, and in some regions experts are forced to resort to emergency emergency measures.
According to the report of the national operator “Ukrenergo”, enemy shelling of the past day was aimed at generation facilities and high-voltage networks.
This caused serious damage to the infrastructure, which makes it impossible to provide uninterrupted light to the homes of citizens and industrial enterprises.
Currently, the most difficult situation is observed in three regions: Kharkiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk.
In these regions, numerous blackouts of consumers have been recorded, and power engineers work around the clock to stabilize the network.
“Emergency blackouts have been forcibly applied in some regions, which will be canceled immediately after the situation in the power system stabilizes,” Ukrenergo emphasized.
It will be recalled that the residents of Kyiv were warned that in some houses there will be light for only two hours.
DTEK also showed the state of thermal power plants before and after the Russian strikes.
