Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolisnyk announced this on the air of the telethon.
According to him, electricity supply has been restored to all consumers in Kyiv.
“In the capital, the power industry restored power to 648,000 subscribers during the day. In the Kyiv region, power was restored to 313,000 families during the day. Of these, 90,000 were cut off as a result of hostilities, another 223,000 – due to difficult weather conditions. As of evening, about 60,000 consumers remain without power,” the official said.
He noted that energy workers continue restoration work and gradually stabilize the operation of the power system, which generally remains united and intact despite bad weather and Russian attacks.
At the same time, according to Kolisnyk, after last night’s massive attack, the situation in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast remains difficult, where 53,000 subscribers are still without power.
The official emphasized that not only the Russian strikes had a significant impact on the operation of the power system, but also adverse weather: freezing rain, sleet, sleet, and strong gusts of wind, which caused numerous interruptions of power lines. Due to the bad weather, as of 4:00 p.m., 366 settlements in several oblasts remained completely or partially without electricity, most notably in Kyiv and Chernihiv.
The situation in the power system: the latest newsAs UNIAN wrote, earlier in the company DTEK reported that the situation with energy supply in the capital was stabilized: emergency shutdowns were canceled in most districts of the city and region, and energy companies began to return to scheduled schedules. At the same time, restrictions were temporarily maintained in Boryspil and Brovary districts, and in places where the consequences of enemy attacks are being eliminated, the restoration of electricity supply will take more time.
Due to power outages in Kyiv, water and heat supply systems, as well as electric transport on both sides of the city, were temporarily suspended. “Kyivpastrans” announced the launch of duplicate bus routes, in particular, instead of the Borshchagiv high-speed tram, which stopped running due to lack of voltage. After the elimination of the emergency situation, the general power supply and operation of the city infrastructure is gradually restored.
