In the Classic Derby, Dynamo Kyiv beat Shakhtar 2:1 and advanced to the 1/4 finals.

Luka Meirellish’s goal for the “miners” was answered by the players of Dynamo with well-hit shots by Andriy Yarmolenko and Eduardo Guerrero (2:1). Dynamo goes further, and Shakhtar is eliminated from the tournament.
The following made it to the 1/4 finals of the Cup of Ukraine:

Two more matches of the 1/8 finals will be held on October 30. For the first time in history, the amateur club Agrotech Tyshkivka is participating in the 1/8 final stage, its opponent will be Fenix-Mariupol at 12:00, and Metalist 1925 Kharkiv will play Agrobusiness Volochysk at 17:00.
There will be no more than three representatives of the elite in the quarterfinals. At least one non-UPL team is guaranteed to play in the semifinals. Matches consist of one match. In the event of a tie after 90 minutes, a penalty shoot-out will be played immediately.
